Like a cedar planted in the house of the LORD ... The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline. (Prov. 1:7)

"To commit our children to the care of irreligious people is to commit lambs to the superintendency of wolves." (Timothy Dwight, President of Yale 1795-1817)

Welcome to christian-home-school.com/org, an Internet page devoted to promoting Christian values in teaching and training children, in education, and in science.

Our program for schooling can be summarised in a slogan: "Every Church a School, Every Parent a Teacher". In this we are in agreement with Exodus Mandate organisation in the USA. Our prayer is that this becomes an agenda for all Christians in the whole world!

This page has now got a sister page in Polish, Chrystus-szkola-dom.w.pl (Christ-school-home.in.Poland). If you speak Polish, please visit the other site as well! If you do not, maybe you could pray for our international projects? Thank you!

The name of the site reflects four main issues we want to address here:

Christian
We are Christ servants and followers, and He is our Lord (Ro 10:9-10). Thus, we make it our absolute priority to shape our life and all activities according to God's will.
Home
There is no place like home and we believe that Christian homes and families are the first line of the war against the evil principalities (Eph 6:10-18).
School
Education is one of the most important elements of Christian life (Pr 3:13-26). But, what we mean by the education does not necessarily conform to what the world understands and tries to enforce on our children and on us. We believe in God being the origin, centre and goal of the education (Pr 1:7).
Home-School
We believe that there is no place like home and that the basis of the education is given at home. God gives us, parents, the obligation to care for children upbringing and education and He will account us for what we do and where we fail (Dt 6:4-9, Pr 4:3). Often it is possible and plausible to actually provide all education at home (this is an essence of home-schooling), but not all countries allow this option and not all parents have means, understanding or patience, or are called to do so. A small, christian school that is deeply rooted in the family and community life is clearly an alternative.

We believe that the current education and science systems largely do not follow the admonition of Proverbs 1:7. Thus, because of teachers placing man instead of God as a source of knowledge, new generations are raised as fools who despise wisdom and discipline. '"Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of ungodly" (Psalm 1:1). If we leave the Bible out of education, do we not have only the counsel of the ungodly left? (Rod&Staff)'. Moreover, it is clear that the only way in which young people can learn and maintain their qualities is by following God's standards laid out in His Word, 'How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word. (Psalm 119:9)' Thus, we believe that we need to go back to God's standards in education, training, teaching and science.

Currently, there is no formal organisation behind this Internet site. I (AK) have felt for some time the call for providing this testimony and to use my knowledge of Internet and HTML programming to help spreading the word about Christian education. This Web site is informally supported by the Foundation for Translation of Biblical Studies, Inc., and resides on its Internet server (which we gratefully acknowledge). We are non-denominational, and we would like to act within an atmosphere of mutual respect for all Christians.

Please come back and visit this site again. It is really my first attempt at it, and I would welcome any suggestions. Please contact me at the address below, and keep this project in your prayers. Please also visit my personal Internet site, and the Internet site of the Foundation for Translation of Biblical Studies, Inc.
